I was trying to find a way to give baked beans a more Caribbean flavor to go with my Freezer Friendly Jamaican Jerk Chicken recipe. I came up with this, flavored with rum and dark molasses. My friend Sam promptly declared them “the best beans he ever had.” I know that’s heavy praise but try them and see if you don’t agree.
